Access your full potential in the unconscious mind.
What Is Clinical Hypnotherapy?
To answer this question, we first have to understand what is hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a process leading you to a focused yet relaxed state of mind which bypasses the conscious mind to the unconscious mind, where it is receptive to suggestions.
We also call this state of consciousness a "trance" state.
Believe it or not, we are in a trance, unaware every day!
We are in a trance when we daydream, cry and laugh while watching a movie, become absorbed and relaxed during a shower, or lose track of time reading a book or drilling into a downward spiral of thoughts.
Therefore, we self-hypnotize daily without awareness.
In most cases, we do it not necessarily in beneficial ways, such as feeding negative suggestions in our mental chatter and adopting dysfunctional beliefs from the media.
When we do hypnosis with a clear goal, give beneficial suggestions towards it, and with the guidance of a professional hypnotherapist to bring about profound healing changes, this is hypnotherapy.
